If you’ve been following Nourish Noshes, you already know that we are big advocates of preventing disease. Our health system is set up as a reactive model, and we agree with Dr. Jay Shah of Aktiia that we need to get in front of the silent symptoms. One of those silent conditions is high blood pressure. This is why Dr. Shah joined Aktiia, a Swiss company that developed a lightweight bracelet that takes your blood pressure throughout the day without you even knowing it. Dr. Shah tells us all about it. We also asked Dr. Shah asked a few listener questions about blood pressure and learned a lot. If you or someone you know is concerned about their blood pressure, listen and share this episode. Then, go follow Aktiia on social media so you can be the first to know when this tool is hitting the US market.
