Day One: Saturday, June 13th
Technically, my fast started around 7:30 last night (Friday), since that’s the last time I ate food. But today was the first full day of no food. It wasn’t so bad. I expected to be hungry, of course, and I was, though, not really hungry until late in the day. I did take a nap, which I don’t usually do, but I was feeling a little low energy around 3:00 p.m. Other than that, I had my usual energy and I walked my dog and did some gardening and some light shopping with no ill effects.
Overall it was a good day, though, honestly, I was very ready for it to be over, as it got tiring to distract myself from my hunger. I gave my dog an extra walk at 8:00 p.m. and then watched a movie with my daughter, which brought me nicely to 10:00 p.m. which is my usual bedtime.
