I have learned how to make a life change, not a quick fix

Wendy, I came to you as a 27 year old who felt like a 60 year old. I knew something was going on with my body but could not figure out what it was. I signed up thinking more about losing weight than anything else. However in the last 6 months, I have learned so much about myself and how to make a life change, not a quick fix.

You have introduced me to new and healthier foods, but more importantly I know why they are better for me and I can finally realize how foods make me feel. My kitchen cabinets are forever changed. You never deprived me of anything I wanted, you just gave me other alternatives, working until we found an option that I enjoyed eating.

My biggest accomplishment was starting to exercise again, which I would not have done without you. You made it more about “me time” than something I dreaded doing. As you have learned, I am an instant gratification kind of person but I have learned that to undo 27 years of eating and thinking one way will take time and work. It is something that I could not accomplish alone!
