It seems overwhelming.
BUT, if you did it, your life would be so much easier. You’d be eating healthier foods, you’d have more time, you’d have more motivation to cook and life would be more simple. It’s a no-brainer to meal plan – we know this, because when we do it, we are so much happier.
We understand the overwhelm, the frustration, the last minute pressure, the order-out again scene, eating just whatever is around and tasting crappy. People are tired of having to make, yet another decision, about what to eat.
And constant, day in and day out decisions about food is a stressor. If we can lower stress and increase health, why not do it?
Time gets away from us, the idea slips our mind, it doesn’t seem urgent or that important so it falls off the list. It hasn’t become a habit.
Let’s be honest. Meal Planning is not really fun – typically.
But we are so much better off doing the mundane tasks – like brushing our teeth, exercising, cleaning our bathrooms. We do all these things to prevent being uncomfortable later.
We all know that starting a new exercise program can be daunting, the hardest part is the beginning – just getting into a new rhythm. When you do, it ends up becoming routine and you benefit in so many ways – not to mention you really do become happier.
