Health and Wellness Coaches

Our Mission: To make the world a healthier place.

Meet your Nourish Coaches

Debbie Peterson

In 1998, while working as a college instructor in Rhode Island, I faced a personal challenge: infertility. My research led me to alternative medicine, including Traditional Chinese Medicine and the benefits of whole foods. By 2002, I had two children and a growing passion for health.

Our 2005 move to New Jersey connected me with the Holistic Moms Network and I led the local chapter for six years. I integrated health and nutrition into my teaching and, in 2007, discovered the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. This pivotal moment led me to connect with Wendy, and our joint venture in health and wellness began.

Wendy and I achieved our National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches certification in 2021, solidifying our commitment to guiding others towards healthier lives.

I cherish my time playing tennis, gardening, writing, and being with my family.

After more than a decade of hectic life in the corporate world, I found myself burned out and totally out of touch with my health. In 2006, a lay-off became my turning point and I discovered yoga and fitness. A transformative food and wellness talk at the yoga studio inspired me to enroll at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York, where I met Debbie, co-founder of our Nourish journey.

My experiences have solidified my belief in the power of real food, exercise, sleep, mindfulness, and genuine connections. My husband Dana (see bio below) and I complement each other  – he motivates me to stay active, while I ensure he’s well nourished.

I’m dedicated to helping individuals in transition and corporate professionals, achieve their best through sustainable habits. My credentials include a Precision Nutrition Level 1 and an Heroic Coach certification (formerly named Optimize Coach). In 2021, Debbie and I became National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches. Outside work, I’m involved in community initiatives and enjoy nature, sailing, gardening, writing, and being with family.

Dr. Dana Fallon

After 37 years of private practice, I sold my dental practice in November 2022. About the same time, I also retired as a competitive, nationally ranked bike racer of 30 years. I was ready for a change. As an avid weight lifter since the age of 10, I have always focused on strength and fitness. When the COVID pandemic shut down the office for two months, I embarked on a journey that would create the side-gig that drives my passion for health: strength training. I studied non-stop during that two months and received the prestigious National Academy of Sports Medicine, Personal Training Certification in October 2021 and Kettlebell Training Certification in late 2021. I immediately started coaching clients at a local gym and really enjoyed the personal connections.

Rewind a couple of years… Inspired by what my wife Wendy learned, (see bio above) I attended and graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition health coach program in 2010 and saw clients at the Nourish office part-time. In 2012, I received my N.A.S.M. Wellness Coach Certification. Over the years, as an avid reader and learner, I have studied longevity, brain health, and sports nutrition.

Fitness is one of my cornerstone values. These days you can find Wendy and me walking, running, forest hiking, and rucking. We also are forever smitten about our rescue kitties.
